Wang Lingna, born in January 1988, is a deputy to the 12th National People's Congress (NPC). She is an assistant to a village head in Jiexi County, Guangdong Province. Over the past five years, she has submitted proposals on the scientific planning of rural scenic spots, rural environmental pollution control and the development of rural e-commerce. "I am a deputy representing grass-roots people, so my proposals must be based on the actual situation of my village and reflects the aspirations of my villagers," she said.
