Myanmar will receive an additional 400 million U.S. dollars financial support from the World Bank Group for poor rural communities in the country, according to a press release of the World Bank Group issued here Thursday.

Under the ongoing Myanmar National Community Driven Development Project (NCDDP), the financial aid will be used in repair and construction of more health centers, schools, roads and drinking water systems which will benefit 7 million rural population across 62 townships, the release said.(Myanmar-World Bank)

HANOI -- Former president of the United States Bill Clinton is visiting Vietnam on the occasion of celebrating the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two country.

This is the fifth visit of Bill Clinton to Vietnam. In July 1995, he announced the normalization of diplomatic ties between the two countries.(Vietnam-Bill Clinton)

DHAKA -- Bangladesh received record 15.3 billion U.S. dollars in remittance from residents working abroad in the last fiscal year, a central bank official said on Thursday.
