There are many silk banners hanging on the wall of Chen Fanjing’s office. They are all from his patients. Chen says that displaying them is not for showing himself off, but serves as an encouragement to spur himself on. What these banners produce is not only motivation but also pressure, which makes Chen feels with great responsibility on himself. He always tells himself that as a doctor he must try his best to heal the wounded and rescue the dying.
