Huang wins 50m freestyle S3 gold in Rio

China's Huang Wenpan broke the world record to win gold in the men's 50m freestyle S3 final at the Rio Paralympics on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old touched the wall in 39.24 seconds to shatter his own record by 1.26 seconds.

Ukraine's Dmytro Vynohradets took silver in 41.41 and China's Li Hanhua bronze in 42.18.

It was Huang's second gold medal of these Games after his victory in the mixed 4x50 freestyle 20 points on Friday.

Huang was born with with cerebral palsy and started swimming in 2010. Endit
