China's Yang Bozun broke his own world record to win his second straight Paralympic 100m breaststroke SB11 title on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old, who became blind at 19 due to glaucoma, touched the wall in 1 minute 10.08 seconds to beat his previous mark by three hundredths of a second.

Tharon Drake of the United States grabbed silver in 1:11.50 and Japan's Keiichi Kimura took bronze in 1:12.88.

It was Yang's third gold medal at the Rio Games and seventh Paralympic title overall. He also won the 50m freestyle S11 and 100m backstroke S11 finals here. Endit
