Saudi-led coalition says military operations in Yemen nearly over

The spokesperson of a Saudi-led coalition said on Thursday that its military operations in Yemen are winding down, local media reported.

Brig. Ahmed Asiri said battles across the Saudi-Yemeni borders with Yemen's Houthi rebels have ended, following tribal mediation efforts, Sabq online news reported.

Asiri said the coalition's main goals in the coming phase would be restoring stability in Yemen and rebuilding infrastructure in the country. Endit
