Hamilton, Rosberg lead F1 tributes for Paris terror attacks

Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg has led the Formula 1 drivers on the social media tributes to the victims of the coordinated attacks occurring Friday night in Paris, which have left more than 120 people dead.

Ahead of this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix, drivers and teams from Formula 1 expressed their concern and shock as well as the rest of the world.

"I am praying for all those affected in Paris, please pray with me guys," said Hamilton on Twitter. The Briton has secured the annual driver's champion at the U.S. Grand Prix last month, and is seeking for his first win at Interlagos Circuit of Sao Paulo.

Hamilton's Mercedes teammate Rosberg was also sad towards the Paris tragedy. "Speechless about the tragedy in France. My thoughts are with you," he wrote on Twitter.

Rosberg, last year's Brazilian Grand Prix winner who arrived in Sao Paulo fresh from his success in Mexico, is still competing for the annual driver's runner-up with Sebastian Vettel from Ferrari.

France's only current Formula 1 driver Romain Grosjean from Lotus and McLaren racing director Eric Boullier, used the popular 'Pray for Paris' image which has been shared across social media. Grosjean will also wear a "tricolore" armband this weekend.

Several other figures shared their concern towards Paris.

"Shocked. My heart goes out to all those affected in Paris," said Fernando Alonso from McLaren on Twitter. While his teammate Jenson Button said on Twitter, "to those who are affected by this terrible tragedy my heart goes out to you..."

Formula 1 also said on its official Twitter account that "our thoughts are with all those affected by the tragedy in Paris." Endi
