Spanish stock market falls 0.24 pct, closes at 10,397 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 0.24 percent on Thursday to close at 10,397.20 points, down from the 10,421.90 points of Wednesday.

During Thursday's session, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 4.29 percent, followed by Banco Santander, Abengoa "B", OHL, Sacyr and Acerinox that lost 2.29 percent, 2.06 percent, 1.89 percent, 1.79 percent and 1.58 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Mediaset shares led rises climbing 9.64 percent, followed by DIA, Gamesa, Inditex, ACS and Ferrovial that rose 1.66 percent, 1.56 percent, 1.14 percent, 0.83 percent and 0.56 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.644 percent, showing no big difference compared with Wednesday, while Spain's risk premium stood at 110.70 points, slightly below the 111.80 points of Wednesday. Endit
