British FTSE 100 decreases 0.65 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.65 percent, or 42.00 points, to 6,395.80 points.

Share price of Merlin Entertainments increased by 2.00 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Mondi, Next and Coca-Cola HBC AG increased by 1.85 percent, 1.34 percent, 1.27 percent and 1.10 percent respectively.

Barclays led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 6.70 percent, followed by Meggitt (5.20 percent), Randgold Resources (5.06 percent), Anglo American (4.83 percent) and Smith & Nephew (4.70 percent). Endit
