French stock market index down 0.10 pct on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 finished the trading day with a decrease of 0.10 percent to close at 4,885.82 points on Thursday, down 4.76 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly lower on Thursday with 15 of the 40 selected stocks experiencing decreases.

The top three gainers on Thursday were Alcatel-Lucent, up 10.27 percent, Capgemini, up 3.08 percent, and Airbus Group, up 1.79 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Thursday were Saint Gobain, down 4.89 percent, ArcelorMittal, down 4.27 percent, and Societe Generale, down 3.65 percent.

On the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.90 percent to close at 4,890.58 points, up 43.51 points. Endit
