India, Pakistan troops exchange fire in Kashmir

Xinhua, September 4, 2015 Adjust font size:

Troops of India and Pakistan Friday exchanged fire in the disputed Kashmir region, officials said.

The two sides resorted to small arms firing and mortar shelling on each other's positions in R S Pora sector of Jammu district and Bhimber Gali (BG) sector of Poonch district.

Media Reports said the Indian side has not suffered any loss or damage in the fire exchange.

On Wednesday night, a similar exchange broke out between the two sides in Poonch.

Both New Delhi and Islamabad accuse each other of resorting to unprovoked firings and violating cease-fire agreements. Endi
