At least four people were killed and 15 others wounded after a suicide car bombing ripped through the front gate of Afghan capital's airport on Monday, an official said.

"The initial information said that some four killed and 15 injured were admitted to Kabul hospitals, including the Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan military hospital, following this noon's blast. The number of the causalities may change," a public health spokesman, Aziz Kawoosi, told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Bombing)

ISLAMABAD -- A 6.4-magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Pakistan, including the capital city Islamabad, on Monday, the meteorological office said.

The office said the quake jolted the country's Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces at 1005 GMT. (Pakistan-Quake)

CANBERRA -- Japan should get the message on history right not just for the justice and dignity of victims of Japanese imperial aggression, but also for the sake of bridging the trust deficit in Northeast Asia, an Australian expert wrote on Monday.

In a lead article on the latest edition of the Australian National University's East Asia Forum published online on Monday, Peter Drysdale, an economist at the ANU, pointed out that the " trust deficit" has been a bottleneck to Northeast Asia's progress on a host of critical issues. YANGON -- Myanmar authorities sent back on Monday 159 more Bangladeshi nationals rescued by the Myanmar navy to their country of origin, Bangladesh, after verification, according to a release of the Foreign Ministry.
