Dollar trades in upper 123 yen range in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 123 yen range early on Wednesday in Tokyo, little changed from its overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 123.88-89 yen compared with 123.89-99 yen in New York and 123.68-70 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1173-1175 dollars and 138.43-47 yen against 1.1163-1173 dollars and 138.32-42 yen in New York and 1.1258-1260 dollars and 139.24-28 yen in Tokyo late on Tuesday afternoon. Endi
