Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh has been admitted to a hospital near the national capital Saturday, sources said.
"Singh was rushed to the super-speciality hospital in Gurgaon on the outskirts of the Indian capital around 9.30 a.m. (local time) from his official residence, after he complained of a heart problem. He is currently undergoing treatment at the private hospital," the sources said. (India-Minister)

KABUL -- Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Saturday described the peace process in the country as a national program, saying all Afghans voice for having lasting peace and stability. LASHKAR GAH, Afghanistan -- A soldier was killed and three others injured as a roadside bomb struck a military vehicle in the southern Helmand province on Saturday, an official said.
"A mine planted by militants on a road struck a military vehicle in Sangin district at around 04:00 p.m. local time today, leaving one soldier dead and injuring three others," an Afghan army commander in the province General Jilani told Xinhua. ( Afghanistan-Blast)

COLOMBO -- China has urged Sri Lanka to respect bilateral agreements and business contracts, and protect the interests of its investors following the suspension of a multi-billion-U.S. dollar project, the Chinese Embassy said on Saturday.
At emergency meetings with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera, Chinese Ambassador Yi Xianliang also asked the Sri Lankan side to cherish the results of mutually-beneficial cooperation between the two countries, the embassy said. KATHMANDU -- After nearly four days of closure, Nepal's only international airport, the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), has resumed its services to all incoming and outgoing international flights from 7:30 p.m. local time Saturday, Nepalese aviation authorities told Xinhua.
The airport has reopened all international operations as the crash-landed Turkish Airlines plane was successfully removed from the runway and pulled towards a secure parking zone, officials said. (Nepal-Airport) Endi
