France, U.S. want stronger nuke deal with Iran

US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Saturday in Paris the United State and France agreed that the current nuclear deal being discussed with Iran needs to be strengthened.

Kerry said, after a meeting with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius at Quai d'Orsay, that he was in no hurry to conclude an agreement with Iran, adding "we have to get the right deal".

He said that it is up to Iran to prove that it has a peaceful nuclear program.

Fabius said at the press conference that there has been progress in some areas but there are also differences. Endit
