20th Muscat Int'l Book Fair closes

The 20th Muscat International Book Fair closed on Saturday in the Omani capital Muscat.

More than 600 publishing houses representing more than 24 countries including UK, Sweden, Egypt and Lebanon took part in the fair which kicked off on Feb. 26.

About 180,000 titles were available at the event.

The website www.mctbookfair.gov.om/search was available for readers who sought to search for titles of books.

The exhibition witnessed seminars on science, inventions and Omani poetry.

Special days for school students, women and children were also organized. Endit
