SEECP members sign resolution against terrorism

Xinhua, February 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

The foreign ministers of South-East Europe countries signed here on Tuesday a resolution against terrorism and the threats that such phenomenon poses, according to the Albanian ministry of foreign affairs.

For the first time, the Ministerial of the Cooperation Process of the South-East European (SEECP) countries takes such a position.

"Let us cooperate in the best possible way, both in the access to information and the teamwork that police forces, intelligence services or law enforcement institutions in general can do," Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati said, according to Albanian daily news.

The document claims that terrorism has no justification and it should not be vested with any nationality, religion or ethnic group.

The top diplomats of the countries participating in the meeting pledged for common actions and response as well as support for religious tolerance and to prevent the radicalization of terrorism in the region. Endit
