An Egyptian court on Tuesday found two top former officials, who served under ousted president Hosni Mubarak, not guilty in corruption charges, official news agency MENA reported.

Former prime minister Ahmed Nazif and former interior minister Habib al-Adly were both charged with profiteering and squandering public funds for their own interests. (Egypt-Former officials)

SANAA -- A French woman was kidnapped along with her bodyguards in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Tuesday, an interior ministry official told Xinhua.

The French woman is believed to be working for the French oil company TOTAL, the official said. (Yemen-Kidnap)

BAGHDAD -- Up to 58 people were killed in separate bomb attacks and airstrikes in central and northern Iraq on Tuesday, security sources said.

In Iraq's northern central province of Salahudin, a bomb exploded near a group of young men who were gathered at a recruitment center at a military base near the town Amerli, some 70 km east of the provincial capital Tikrit. (Iraq-Attacks)

ANKARA -- Four pilots were killed after two F-4 warplanes crashed in Malatya province of eastern Turkey on Tuesday, local NTV broadcaster reported.

The four pilots were found dead in wreckage of the crashed military aircrafts, after they lost contact during reconnaissance flight in Turkey's Malatya province, the report quoted Turkish Interior Minister Efkan Ala as saying. (Turkey-Warplanes Crash) Endit
