Spanish stock market index rises 2.05 pct on Wednesday

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.05 percent on Wednesday to close at 9,751.50 points, up from the 9,555.50 points of Tuesday.

Banco Sabadell shares led rises climbing 6.77 percent, followed by ArcelorMittal, Mediaset, Bankia, Acerinox and Caixabank that rose 5.04 percent, 3.66 percent, 3.64 percent, 3.50 percent and 3.24 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Viscofan shares led falls losing 1.70 percent, only followed by Endesa and Enagas that lost 0.17 percent and 0.02 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 144 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.67 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
