Paris CAC 40 index up 2.10 pct Wednesday

The French stock market index CAC 40 gained 2.10 percent and closed at 4,858.58 points on Wednesday.

The CAC 40 closed higher on Tuesday, up 102.25 points, with all of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were ArcelorMittal, up 5.17 percent, Societe Generale, up 4.92 percent, and BNP Paribas, up 4.46 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 rose by 0.28 percent to close at 4,858.58 points on Tuesday, up 13.40 points. Endit
