Visegrad Group encourages Macedonia to form new gov't

Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, or the Visegrad Group (V4), support and encourage Macedonia to solve the political stalemate and create as soon as possible its new government, the press office of Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov said Monday.

The ambassadors of the four countries were received in a meeting by Ivanov.

Macedonia urgently needs a new government which will be committed to European agenda, economic prosperity and capable to deal with the challenges of migrant/refugee crisis, Ivanov and V4 ambassadors agreed at the meeting.

The officials also underlined the need of a breakthrough in Macedonia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

In this regard, Ivanov thanked the V4 for the ongoing support to Macedonia's EU drive and for the support given to coping with the migrant crisis. Enditem
