Spain's unemployment falls by 2.04 pct in April

The number of Spain's unemployment fell by 2.04 percent in April to a total of 4,011,171 people, compared with that in March, according to data published on Wednesday by Spain's Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
The drop meant 83,599 fewer people out of work in the country on a month-to-month basis, and a drop by 321,845 people when compared with that in April, 2015, which meant a 7.5 percent fall.
Unemployment fell in all sectors in April, of which 50,807 unemployed people are in the service sector.
Spanish Acting Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said on Wednesday that the unemployment data was good news, stating "we are going in the right direction".
Meanwhile, Spanish Acting Minister of Employment and Social Security Fatima Banez, said data showed the strength of the labor market's recovery. Endit
