British FTSE 100 decreases 1.19 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday decreased by 1.19 percent, or 73.57 points, to 6,112.02 points.

Share price of Next increased by 3.46 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Admiral Group, Direct Line Insurance Group, Provident Financial and International Consolidated Airlines Group increased by 1.31 percent, 0.73 percent, 0.62 percent and 0.49 percent respectively.

Randgold Resources led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 11.73 percent, following by Sainsbury (6.27 percent), BHP Billiton (5.77 percent), Tesco (5.44 percent) and London Stock Exchange Group (4.20 percent). Endit
