Spanish stock market falls 2.85 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 2.85 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,764.90 points, down from the 9,022.10 points of Monday.

On Tuesday session, Caixabank shares led falls losing 5.27 percent, followed by Sacyr, Bankia, Mapfre, Banco Santander and Banco Popular that lost 5.27 percent, 5.17 percent, 4.96 percent, 4.85 percent and 4.73 percent.

Enagas shares also fell losing 0.17 percent as well as AENA, FCC, Endesa, Grifols and Amadeus that lost 0.28 percent, 0.29 percent, 0.33 percent, 0.58 percent and 0.60 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 136.80 points, climbing from the 131 points of Monday closing time, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.5 percent, showing no big differences when compared with Monday. Endit
