Coal mine gas blast kills 6 in SW China

Six people were killed in a coal mine gas blast in southwest China's Yunnan Province Tuesday, local authorities said.

The explosion happened at around 11:10 a.m. at Shaba Coal Mine in Yanjin County.

Rescue work is underway. So far, it is not clear how many people were injured or trapped after the explosion.

Cause of the accident is being investigated. Endi
