British FTSE 100 decreases 0.90 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreased by 0.90 percent, or 56.30 points, to 6,185.59 points.

Share price of RSA Insurance Group increased by 2.83 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Carnival, Admiral Group, Sage Group and Direct Line Insurance Group increased by 2.44 percent, 2.37 percent, 1.94 percent and 1.77 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 12.80 percent, followed by Glencore (8.10 percent), Antofagasta (7.70 percent), Rio Tinto (6.35 percent) and BHP Billiton (6.19 percent). Endit
