Organizers of an international investment forum said on Wednesday that all was set for the event meant to attract investment into Zambia.

The country will host the fifth International Investment Forum from April 21 to 22 when over 300 delegates comprising foreign investors, local investors, financiers, government officials and other stakeholders will attend.

The Zambia Development Agency, the country's investment agency, said international delegates from South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, United States of America, the United Kingdom, Mauritius and Nigeria have already confirmed their participation.

The investment forum, to be held under the theme "Investment for Industrialization, Wealth and Job Creation" will discuss, among other issues, alternative energy solutions in a changing economic and climate environment, investing in an effective value chain, labor and value addition.

An exhibition will also be held on the sidelines of the forum to showcase services and products of Zambian and international companies, according to the investment agency. Endit
