Dollar changes hands in lower 109 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 109 yen zone range in early deals in Tokyo on Friday morning, largely in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 109.32-33 yen compared with 109.36-46 yen in New York and 109.31-32 in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1265-1266 dollars and 123.15-16 yen against 1.1262-1272 dollars and 123.16-26 yen in New York and 1.1252-1254 dollars and 123.00-04 yen in late trade in Tokyo on Thursday afternoon. Endit
