Nigeria to celebrate World Table Tennis for All Day

The Nigeria Table Tennis Federation (NTTF) will join their counterparts throughout the world to celebrate the World Table Tennis For All Day on April 6.

The day was jointly set aside by the United Nations and the International Olympic Committee as the International Day of Sport for development and peace.

It is also set aside to celebrate the contributions and achievements of table tennis globally.

Scribe of the federation Chinedu Ezealah-Ogundare, said officials and players would converge on the knock-up hall of the National Stadium in Surlere, Lagos to celebrate the contributions of table tennis to sports development in the country and the world.

Ezealah-Ogundare said table tennis matches would be played to commemorate the celebration.

She urged the lovers of the sport to turn out in large numbers to celebrate the day at the stadium.

This is the second time the day would be celebrated. The first edition was in 2015. Endit
