Several consecutive explosions rocked an industrial zone near the southwestern French city of Bordeaux early Sunday, local media reported.
The blasts took place around 6:40 local time (0440 GMT) in a company transporting chemical products in the industrial zone. No immediate reports of casualties and damage were reported. (France-Explosion)

BAKU -- Azerbaijan unilaterally suspended all military operations and response measures in the high-strung disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region with Armenia, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Sunday.

RAMADI, Iraq -- A total of 22 Islamic State (IS) militants were killed Sunday in an airstrike on IS positions and clashes with security forces in Iraq's western province of Anbar, a provincial security source told Xinhua.
Security forces and allied paramilitary Sunni tribal fighters fought fierce clashes with IS militants and made a new progress in their offensive to drive out IS militants from the town of Heet, 160 km west of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, the source said on condition of anonymity. (Iraq-IS)

ARUSHA, Tanzania -- Two people died and three others injured after an illegal mine pit collapsed late Saturday in Tanzania's lake zone region of Geita, police said on Sunday.
