British FTSE 100 decreases 0.47 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday decreased by 0.47 percent, or 28.85 points, to 6,146.05 points.

Share price of Shire increased by 3.11 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Smith & Nephew, ARM Holdings, Persimmon and Wolseley increased by 1.57 percent, 1.18 percent, 1.10 percent and 1.04 percent respectively.

Glencore led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.80 percent, following by Standard Chartered (3.96 percent), Antofagasta (3.30 percent), Pearson (3.03 percent) and Fresnillo (2.94 percent). Endit
