Armed men rob jewelry store in Stockholm

Xinhua, March 10, 2016 Adjust font size:

Swedish police on Thursday searched for three armed men who robbed a jewelry store in southern Stockholm, local media reported.

Several shots were fired after the men rammed the store windows with a red passenger car but no injuries were reported, according to public broadcaster Swedish Television.

"Two of them entered the shop and one watched the entrance," an eye witness told news agency TT.

The suspects fled in a black sedan car that police later found parked next to a trail in a nearby area.

Police had not detained any suspects in the afternoon but had classified the incident as aggravated robbery. Endit
