Spanish stock market rises 0.24 pct, closes at 8,761 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.24 percent on Wednesday to close at 8,761.10 points, up from the 8,740.30 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Iberdrola shares led rises climbing 2.22 percent, followed by Endesa, Inditex, Aena and Indra A that rose 1.98 percent, 1.73 percent, 1.46 percent and 1.40 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Acerinox shares led falls losing 3.76 percent followed by DIA, OHL, ArcelorMittal and Sacyr that lost 3.33 percent, 2.41 percent, 2.26 percent and 1.90 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 133.9 points, which was above the 139.90 points of Tuesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 1.57 percent, showing no differences when compared with Tuesday's closing time. Endit
