Xinhua, February 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

Three foreign tourists were killed on Friday afternoon while taking part in an adventure tour at Datanla Waterfall in Da Lat in Vietnam's Central Highlands Lam Dong Province.

Nguyen Van Yen, vice chairman of Lam Dong Province was quoted by local Thanh Nien (Young People) online newspaper as saying that the victims included one man and two women.

Police said all the victims were from Britain.

They have found the bodies of the man and one of the women from an abyss in the downstream area of the waterfall, Thanh Nien reported.

The driver of a local travel firm booked by the tourists said he drove them to the site at 11:30 a.m. local time and learned about the accident at 1:00 p.m.

Bui Duc Ro, Da Lat's deputy chief police officer, said the victims might have slipped into the waterfall when exploring the area. Police are investigating the case. Enditem
