Spanish stock market falls 1.64 pct, closes at 8,787 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 1.64 percent on Thursday to close at 8,787.70 points, down from the 8,934.50 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session IAG shares led falls losing 4.74 percent, followed by Ferrovial, Gamesa, Merlin, DIA and Inditex that lost 4.56 percent, 4.27 percent, 2.68 percent, 2.60 percent and 2.55 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 5.50 percent, followed by Indra A, Sacyr, OHL, Repsol and FCC that rose 3.78 percent, 2.85 percent, 2.80 percent, 2.71 percent and 2.39 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium stood at 127 points compared to the 128.50 points of Wednesday and Spain's 10-year bond closed at 1.788 percent, showing no differences when compared with Wednesday. Endit
