1st LD Writethru: Stray bullet hits employee at Golden Temple in India's Punjab

An employee at Golden Temple, a famous shrine of Sikh community, in northern Indian state of Punjab was wounded Thursday after a stray bullet hit him in chest, officials said.

The bullet pierced through the employee's turban and jacket, scratching his chest, local media reported.

The employee Sewadar Gurpreet Singh however suffered minor wound and was reported to be stable. Endit
