Vietnam slams deadly terror attacks in Indonesia

Vietnam condemns the terror attacks in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Thursday, which caused deaths and injuries, said spokesperson of Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Le Hai Binh.

"We convey our deep sympathies to the Indonesian government and families of the victims, and we strongly believe that masterminds behind the attacks will be punished properly," Binh added.

On the same day, while meeting with the outgoing Indonesian ambassador to Vietnam in capital Hanoi, Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang also condemned the attacks and expressed his condolence to the Indonesian people.

Suicide bombing in Jakarta on Thursday killed seven people and injured 20 others. Five policemen are among the 20 injured, according to Jakarta police. Endit
