Chinese shares open higher Wednesday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.6 percent, at 3,041.11 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index opened 0.52 percent higher at 10,347.08 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 0.6 percent to open at 2,160.32 points. Endi
