Dollar changes hands in upper 117 yen zone in early Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 117 yen level early Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.82-83 yen compared with 117.58-68 yen in New York and 117.39-40 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.0842-0844 dollars and 127.75-76 yen against 1.0852-0862 dollars and 127.74-84 yen in New York and 1.0892-0893 dollars and 127.86-90 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
