Bangladesh's foreign exchange reserve reached 27.45 billion U.S. dollars at the end of December last year, said a central bank official on Sunday.

The Bangladesh Bank official who preferred to be unnamed said the country's foreign exchange reserves stood at 27,448.88 million U.S. dollars in December after reaching 26,407.63 million U.S. dollars in November.

The country's foreign exchange reserves in October this year touched the level of 27 billion U.S. dollar for the first time.
