Archives of war from NE China exhibited in Beijing

An exhibition featuring Nanjing Massacre archives from Jilin Archives in northeast China opened on Sunday at a museum of war in the western suburb of Beijing.

The six pieces of archives of Nanjing Massacre are exhibited along with another 83 items from the Jilin Archives, showing the brutality in Japanese aggression of China.

Sunday marked the 78th anniversary of Nanjing Massacre, during which more than 300,000 Chinese civilians and unarmed soldiers were killed after the city fell into the hands of Japanese.

The exhibition will be open to the public until Feb. 13, 2016.

China held a national memorial for the massacre victims in Nanjing on Sunday. In February 2014, China's top legislature designated Dec. 13 as the National Memorial Day for Nanjing Massacre Victims. Endi
