New comer Akognon lifts Jilin past Bayi 102-100

Jilin's new foreign player Josh Akognon help his team edge Bayi 102-100 in the 17th round of the 2015-2016 season's Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league here on Sunday.

   Akognon had 26 points and 4 assists. The new comer has been the hero since he took the last shot. He threw all the fans into frenzy with Jilin's first back-to-back victories in the season.

   Han Shuo led Bayi with 26 points, but he can't stop Akognon from making the final shot 0.9 seconds before the final whistle. Han was criticized by his coach A Dijiang after the match.
