British FTSE 100 drops 0.63 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.63 percent, or 38.63 points, to 6,088.05 points.

Share price of Glencore increased by 7.19 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. TUI AG Reg Shs, Centrica, Lloyds Banking Group and Fresnillo increased by 4.55 percent, 3.01 percent, 2.22 percent and 1.74 percent respectively.

Sports Direct International led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 10.82 percent, followed by Old Mutual (10.75 percent), Smiths Group (3.65 percent), Next (2.91 percent) and 3i Group (2.16 percent). Endit
