Top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said the country has been turned into "a powerful nuclear weapons state ready to detonate self-reliant atomic and hydrogen bomb," the official KCNA news agency reported Thursday.

Kim said the nuclear bombs are aimed at defending the country's sovereignty and the nation's dignity, when he gave field inspections on a remodeled revolutionary site. Endi
