Xinhua, November 10, 2015 Adjust font size:

The number of those killed by a Jordanian police in Amman on Monday rose to four after a Jordanian civilian died from serious injuries he sustained in the attack, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

Earlier in the day, a Jordanian policeman shot dead a South African trainer and two U.S. trainers at the International Police Training Centre in capital Amman, Minister of State Mohammad Momani said, adding that two other Americans and four Jordanians were injured in the shooting.

One of the wounded Jordanians, who worked as a translator at the facility, died later in the day.

The attacker, who was identified as Anwar Abu Zeid, exchanged fire with the security forces at the center and was shot dead on site.

One of his relatives told Xinhua Monday that Zeid was 29 years old and has two children.

"He was a very kind person. He was pious and good to people. We are shocked," said the relative.

So far, there is no report over the motive behind the attack. Endit
