China military official urges U.S. to treat S. China Sea issue discreetly

Xinhua, November 3, 2015 Adjust font size:

Fan Changlong, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, on Tuesday urged the United States to treat issues concerning China's territorial sovereignty discreetly.

In recent years, China and the United States have made a series of achievements in building a new type of major-country relationship, Fan said while meeting with the commander of U.S. forces in the Pacific, Admiral Harry Harris.

He urged the U.S. side to consider overall China-U.S. ties and boost the healthy and stable development of relations between the two countries and militaries. Endi
