Vietnam's club to play in China friendly

Xinhua, October 28, 2015 Adjust font size:

Hanoi T&T, the 2015 runner-up of V. League, Vietnam's top professional football league, will play in a friendly tournament in China.

The tournament will be staged in the Chinese southwest city of Kunming from Nov. 20 to Dec. 1, the local club said Wednesday.

"Clashing with regional teams will offer us a good opportunity to review our line-up, making preparations for the 2016 V-League season," said an official from the Vietnamese team.

Eight teams from Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Bangladesh as well as Vietnam and four from China's second division league will compete in the tournament. Endi
