ARATS chief to visit Taiwan by year end

An exchange group led by the mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) President Chen Deming will visit Taiwan by the end of this year, the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office said Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the office said the group will visit local firms in science and technology parks and cultural and creative industry centers.

They are also expected to exchange views with local industrial and commercial organizations and institutions that provide services for senior citizens, the spokesperson said. Endi
