ISLAMABAD -- An anti-terrorism court in Pakistani capital Islamabad on Friday issued an arrest warrant for former president Pervez Musharraf for ordering house arrest of judges of different courts of the country in 2007, local media reported.

ABUJA -- An explosion on Friday hit the camp of internally displaced persons in Nigeria's Yola city, capital of the northeastern state of Adamawa, the National Emergency Management Agency said.

MOSCOW -- Russia will continue to send military equipment to Syria to help it with the fight against the Islamic State terrorist group, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Friday.

ANKARA -- Turkish jets killed 60 Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants in overnight airstrikes against targets of the outlawed group in northern Iraq, Dogan News Agency reported Friday.
