Scores of refugees arrived in Sweden by ferry from Germany on Friday as migrants seek new travel paths.
Ferry operator Stena Line said 150 refugees were on board the ship that arrived in the western city of Gothenburg, while another 200 migrants had arrived by ferry earlier this week, newspaper Dagens Nyheter reported.
"I think we will see a constant stream (of refugees) for a long time to come," Stena Line spokesman Niclas Martensson told the newspaper.
The migrants who arrived on Friday morning had either paid for the tickets themselves or received German state subsidies that covered their travel, public broadcaster Swedish Radio reported.
The Migration Agency is to send the new arrivals across Sweden, while refugee children traveling alone are to remain in Gothenburg.
"It's important to note that we do not force anyone to have their fingerprints taken or to apply for asylum in Sweden," Rexhep Hajirizi at the Migration Agency told news agency TT.
"We are only trying to act humanely," he added. Endit
